Mike Rosenberg

Mike Rosenberg, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, earned his Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in 1983 and his Juris Doctor from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1986.

Mike began his legal career serving the Portsmouth community as an Assistant Public Defender, and later as Deputy Public Defender. He has since practiced law in several settings, including with a private firm and as a sole practitioner, and prior to joining Bush & Taylor, spent 28 years as a partner with Richardson and Rosenberg, representing clients in Portsmouth, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Isle of Wight, Franklin, and Southampton.

His primary areas of practice include state court criminal defense, representing injured individuals in personal injury and wrongful death matters, and estate planning services such as wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives.
