In 2005 Mr. Bush received an associated position with the firm of Stallings & Bischoff, P.C., in Suffolk, Virginia. In 2008, he accepted a partnership there, and in doing so became the youngest partner in that firm’s thirty-six year history. He was also the fastest to achieve that distinction. In 2014, along with Mr. Fred D. Taylor, he co-founded Bush & Taylor, P.C.
Currently, Mr. Bush’s practice is focused in the areas of family law, criminal law, and complex civil litigation. Mr. Bush has been recognized by several national publications for his work in these legal areas of practice. These awards include being listed as a Rising Star by Virginia Super Lawyers Magazine. Moreover, Mr. Bush enjoys a peer rating of “BV Distinguished,” as well as a client rating of “Preeminent” with Martindale-Hubbell. He is a past officer of the Suffolk Bar association, as well as the past Virginia State Bar representative for the 5th Judicial Circuit, Young Lawyers Section. Most recently he has accepted an adjunct professorship to teach at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA.
