Court Gives Leniency to Defendant in Murder Case

Fred Taylor represented Tremayne Johnson, one of three men charged in the murder of 22-year-old Donta Williams in Suffolk. Johnson pleaded second-degree murder and received a lesser sentence than his co-defendants.

Fred Taylor is quoted as saying, “I believe the judge saw today a man who was remorseful, and sincere in his desire to tell the truth and bring closure for all involved. Ultimately, the Court’s sentence was a fair and just result. My client looks forward now to paying his debt to society, and the hope of a brighter future.”
